As I've said EVERY TIME. Would you rather spend 20 minutes waiting for the thing to download or have it instantly available to you upon release? That's what Bungie is doing. They release small but frequent patches here and there pre-launch that prepares the game for the content so that when the DLC goes live, there's no need to wait. They're actually doing a favor for the players. I love being able to just log on and have it instantly there. Additionally, this gives raiders who race for world 1st all an equal chance. It's a win-win. Yeah, some of the placeholders are on the disc. Woop-de-doo. They're placeholders. Not actual content.
