For all of this it is uncommon for games to have the areas already there but with little to no detail and texture and the DLC was not originally planned to come with release and some of the things are outdated by several months

Yes Bungie realized that their entire DLC idea was already discovered. So they had to delay it to add more content to make it look like it wasn't. Too bad the same couldn't have been said for Dark Below as that game was clearly exactly like the leaked content. And if you don't believe just -blam!-ing google it and get off my nuts :)

I am starting to get the feeling that DeeJ is like a Mafia Lawyer, trying to defend them, knowing full well the kind of dirty rotten stuff they are doing.

And also activision is the huge money grabbing company controlling prices and the DLC how it is being distributed is something called easing you into the story and lore
