DeeJ reminds me of a Mafia lawyer. With each and every update of this game. I am getting that feeling that he knows more than he lets on. Am I the only one who thinks that?
I seen interviews with IGN where you clearly know a lot more of what is going on than you let us to believe. DeeJ knows the kind of crooked shit that Bungie and Activision is doing. Every bounty, every quest line is all focused on you doing it over and over, without actually adding any new content like an open world game should.
The fact that you guys try every which way to prolong the game, like the glimmer cap, capping vanguard points, poor loot drops in Nightfall, so that we keep playing till your next expansion. How you guys put out leaks yourself to make it look like it was leaked by testers on Reddit. How you try to defend your game constantly on major news sites. DeeJ it is all an act. We know. You know.
We know you know about Xur. About the Vault size. About the glitches in the raid. About the lack of Destiny story. And about the on Disk DLC which was cut from the original game to be sold to us as DLC.

What a load of crap.
-
When does this game that the guy was talking about come out?
-
Geez.. What's amazing is that they honestly believed they made changes in regards to story telling with TDB? WTF are they even talking about? The only change made is they didn't spend any money on cut-scenes and literally told thin story through loading screens.. GTFO
-
The point of the game, the point of bungie, is that they're changing the gaming world every time they make a game. Think of the original halo, it was a cookie cutter ass game, took no strategy or logic to finish the game, and then 8 to 16 people max on coop, IF you had the resources, but at the time that shit was the coolest game on the market. Think a little bit more exactly about Destiny as a campaign instead of a single game and some shitty extensions. Plus, Destiny may be cookie cutter and lacking, but is there a game on the market that's like Destiny? Other than maybe Borderlands, which is still a pretty shitty game? IF bungie makes another game based on the Destiny universe, it would be like a new line of Elder Scrolls for shooters. So yeah, Destiny is lacking, but its the first game of its kind so just deal with it, or stop playing it honestly, YOU ALREADY WASTED YOUR MONEY ON IT.

Deej has never even completed the story or a raid... All the nerfs are PVP related , yet they effect all weapons accross the board.. Deej is a PVP player as well... Its a little obvious he rages and tells the devs , nerf this , nerf that..

ILLUMINATY OOOHMYYYGAAWD

DeeJ is a community director. A COMMUNITY DIRECTOR. What he can say and cannot say is entirely up to Bungie's board of directors, which in turn is up to Activisions board of directions effectively. As much as I am disappointed at what Destiny became, shit talking DeeJ isn't going to help. He's like a puppet. If you've even seen any spokesperson of a company before, then you've seen how a community director has to act and talk. You want to know what will help change the attitude of everyone at Bungie? Don't buy House of Wolves or any of the other expansions Don't Pre-order Destiny 2 Don't buy Destiny 2 Seasons pass Money talks
-
I just made an oragami death star with all the tinfoil hats pouring out of your post.
-
It's pretty obvious there's a lot of positive marketing hype for a half-assed game. I've noticed this after about the 1st month. They got our money and have no idea what they're doing.
-
Deej just wants to keep his job
-
So funny I never actually knew, as a fact, that we stopped the invasion with crotas end until deej said it. Would it of killed them to have added a little more story? Also idk what's going on with your "talks" about vault space but someone needs to pick the ball up and get it done cuz very soon it's going to be too little too late. The community needs results far greater than buffed and nerfed guns again. And to be perfectly honest I doubt vault space would quell the disregard that had been felt by many in the community. So something you at Bungie should start to live by is that words are like the wind and only actions support them.
-
You do understand that he is the community manager and only the community manager? That means he has the grand pleasure of dealing with all the whining, gripes, and complaints that flood these forums. Sure, he probably doesn't see or read every single post. He can only pass along what we want as a community. What the development team does with that is totally up to them. People asking for him to be removed from his position don't understand that it would just bring in another person to fill in his spot and do the same thing. We all know the real enemy is the Dev team.
-
Wow you must be mad bro. Blaming a guy who has nothing to do with the creation.
-
I think your aluminum foil hat is on a little too tight...
-
Whats the guy talking about? New Destiny by Christmas? Standing for hours waiting for public Event? check! Old cryptarch? check! Raid matchmaking? Wut??? When was this vid taken? the future? 6 months, brought not much Progress for this game. Im sure well have at least one big FPS mmo in ten Years, Destiny will look like this to People then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIgRrRlXr-w

We bought the game. We continue to play it. We are shoveling the coal fueling the fire that is burning us. I LOVE the parts destiny gets right, I can't deny that. And I don't mind a bit of grind, it comes with the territory. BUNGIE just pushes it too damned far. I believe there was a reason that Joe Staten left. I believe that Destiny circa 2013 was axed, then glued back together with the bits that Bungie had finished. I believe that there is more to the Marty McDonnell story than we will ever know. I believe Activision had a hand in rushing the game to the release I believe that Bungie knows that the community knows this. I'm committed to Destiny. I will go to the end game, I'll finish it until they kill the servers because I've already invested a lot of time in it and I want to see how the final game differs from the initial release.... ...but with regards to Destiny 2, I will wait for reviews, which are sure to be very scrutinizing and skeptical. I will wait. As a game, Destiny is a 5/10. But as an addiction, it's a 10. A God damned 10. But I don't need any more addictions, I need games.

"#deej_is_a_vex" nice hashtag lol

where is that character 29 seconds into that video

Welcome to Corporate America.

Don't kill the messenger. Deej can only do so much. He didn't build the game, nor does he really have any control in which way it goes. It's very possible he knows much more then he tells us, but he might not be legally allowed to say anything. Hell, he might even be scripted for things like responding to forums for all we know. At most, all he can do is relay our concerns, then it's in the developers hands. Or maybe I'm wrong, he has complete freedom and knowledge to tell us anything we want about the game or development, but I doubt it. He's community manager, that doesn't mean responding to every bitch-y feedback thread on the forums. It means engaging with the community, and he does it one hell of a lot better then community managers on other games that I've seen. At least we know he exists, and you can't deny that he's active in the community.
-
I would agree with you but....he says that they learned and listen to our feedback about the story and improve it with dlc.....did the dlc have a story?....I mean they didn't even have a cut scene.....oh I get it now ...they hear the complaints about not being able to skip the cut scenes in the story.....so they didn't use any.....smart.

Edited by Bane0079: 2/5/2015 9:01:42 PMI love this game...

Sorry had too much of the lies and propaganda after 2 minutes. Yea, they listen to the community and give what we want. So when were pulse rifles buffed? When were the raid glitches fixed? When did Bungie take responsibility, or make dedicated servers, and the animal planet of disconnections nerfed hard and the peer to peer connection removed reducing lag in PvP? When did the vault size increase? Or any number of the other things the community has said? All I have seen added was more grind. And I don't remember the community asking for more grind.
-
Bottom line is this is all a lie. There is NO story. NONE, nada, zero! They give us a tiny glimmer (sorry for the pun) of a story the Reef part - but they just leave it with nothing but questions. No answers at all. The cut scenes there are the only ones worth watching and they don't deliver any answers at all. Deej, get real. Only young teens can fall for this nonsense. You don't have a narrative. I just saw a post by a player that made up a whole storyline using Windows Movie Maker or something. On a shoestring budget he or she made a story narrative that was instantly compelling and gave Guardians REAL reasons to fight other than go into a shooting gallery that is Skinner Box incarnate. Look, I love playing Destiny like you wouldn't believe but I won't apologize anymore for what Bungie has or hasn't done. They gave us a great FPS with the ultimate look, feel and sound - but that is it. It is enough for me to play but not to care about a narrative. Make a narrative and you might have some aspect of RPG instead of nothing.

Deej can talk smooth and think on his feet I mean this guy could talk his way out of herpes if he needed to. That being said iv never trusted someone like this and never will. But all in all hes just a middle man or better put a PR Guy

Edited by Delete myaccount: 2/5/2015 4:27:20 PMI have around 200 friends on my ps4. 150 of them came from destiny. I used to get on and see at least 40 at a time playing destiny, now I'm lucky if 3 are on. Destiny is done until house of wolves releases and that will only last a few weeks until people get bored again.
