You're an idiot. Venus is hotter than Mercury by about a hundred degrees because of its atmosphere. In the game it describes Mercury turning into a "garden world" until the Vex turn it into a weapon like how they tried to do Mars. In the grimoire cards in places, it shows Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn which shows that we will be going to those planets.
