Yep. There's all this amazing lore, but it's buried away. People need to see this stuff and understand the history, the characters, their relationships. If you have all the background information to accompany the gameplay it makes the game MATTER to the player by engaging and immersing them in the world. Without story, a game like destiny becomes about stuff rather than experiences, this game would be stronger if we had both.
