Here we go. I am startled awake, air clawing its way into my lungs. At first I feel as if I'm laying on a stone floor, but as I try to stand I quickly learn it is but an icy expanse. Devoid of any form of movement, I am cursed to wait out my time. Flesh slowly chilling. Skin becoming one with the desolate cage of ever expanding misery I am incarcerated in. Then a solitary ray of sun pierces the thick layer of frost on my skin. As the incandescent beam thaws my body. My brain becomes hyper-aware.
