Bungie didn't create the Grimoire you knucklehead, it's a fall back option after their lead writer bailed because Activision greed wanted to slice up the world and story he created. This happened within a year of release, they panicked and the only thing they could come up with is the grimoire which they paid some writer at the last minute to create.
