don't worry dude... anyone who decides to take a little time to dig into the past (starting 2013) can see for themselves that the grimoire was a last minute patch job, and anyone who doesn't believe that is just gullible & narrow-minded. Anyone that followed destiny when it was starting to get announced & knew bungie from way back would know that if the game stayed on track & their writer/team didn't bail, the grimoire wouldn't have ever been created & we'd have a great fleshed out story. The story might still have gone in this direction even with Joe staying as lead writer (we'll never know if he decided to change direction with the story or not), but it would've been told wonderfully & clearly and we wouldn't be dealing with the lack of story like we are now..... and we definitely wouldn't have had this silly grimoire tell the story instead.
