Name a few maps where this "range" factor is going to come into play, also, if you're getting out shot by a HC "at range" I have some bad news. You've got a scout rifle scope he's got a tiny little dot on his screen, his aim is good. If your argument is based upon the Thorn/HM you shouldn't be asking that an entire weapon class be nerfed over two weapons that are over-preforming in a part of the game MANY people don't even like.
