You didn't read much. They ARE pushing through the heavy ammo fix... And Hawkmoon was a 1 hit scout rifle in pve, no surprise they drop the accuracy at that range.

Should've probably had a "like" in there. You could 1 shot hobgoblins in VOG hard from the ground floor while they were on sniper perches. This back when VOG hard was the cap and even predates the "omg we can push bosses!" So yeah. Default out of the box maxed 300 at 30 you could 1 hit sniper enemies at a sniper distance. Just a tad to much range to power ratio.

In VOG I was one hitting Hobgoblins on hard. You should probably aim better. You can use Hawkmoon like a scout rifle and deal absolutely devastating damage from scout rifle ranges.
