Note: I am a very young writer trying to get some feedback, please enjoy the story I make and be sure to comment what you think of it. By the way, I love destiny and I think it has a lot of potential for an awesome story.
Light. It makes the simple things look different in every way. Fields, clouds, and even the sea glows when shone with light.
I remember the first time I entered the tower, a young boy chosen by the traveler, born in light. Things were different back then, it was our golden age. . .
But things change, I changed. I have lived long enough in this world to know what it was and what it is to become, listen close guardian for this might be my last tale to tell. I became involved as a warlock, learning from the traveler and its ways. I was naive to the true nature of the universe back then, for the secrets from the traveler came with a heavy price.
Golden age year 2454, a message arrived to the tower, it was a missing person report, numerous people have been disappearing near the Ocean of Storms borders leaving people worried. I was young and inexperienced but joined the task force along with Ikora Rey, a woman whose name you shall have heard before. It was my first time away from Earth, back then the stars made me stare with awe, but now they are glimmers of hope too far to reach.
We finally reached the moon, I can still remember the coldness I felt as soon as I got off the ship. But something worse was waiting, we walked towards the station when we finally saw something that still chills me to this very day. Bodies, mangled and cut floated through the stations, only the sound of our footsteps could be heard across the whole valley. Men, women, children, no one was spared in what we assumed was a massacre but it was something more than that.
The grand station stood silently as we entered, only greeted by the machines pumping oxygen inside. Bodies laid everywhere and the walls were sprayed with blood. Then the lights went off, immediately my ghost lit the dark hallways and we saw it, a mangled gray creature that was just teeth and claw. It moved as nothing we had ever seen, dodging through bullets until it reached the guardian besides me, its claws reached deep inside his chest and its fangs went for the throat, spluttering blood everywhere.
Ikora shot it down, her shotgun glowing in the vast darkness. As the creature died, a vast screech echoed through the building and the sound of scratching increased. Suddenly it wasn't one but many, for what we could only describe as a hive of bees, this darkness couldn't be stopped. Not by us. . . .
