Well I just bought the Plan C and broke it down for the last fusion rifle for the "collect energy" part of the Pocket Infinity bounty and I did not receive my last piece of energy. Now the bounty says to break down rare and greater quality fusion rifles but would breaking down a exotic one and receiving the shard cancel out receiving the exotic energy for the bounty? P.s. I checked the post master and it wasn't there either.
