Do you need the Dark Below DLC to buy exotics from xur
I really want to buy an exotic from xur but I don't have the DLC can I still do it

You should be able to as long as it isn't one the exotics that was released with the DLC. No Land Beyond, Dragon's Breath, Radiant Dance Machines, etc. Anything with the 'I' symbol in the upper right corner. Those you won't be able to purchase. Anything else you should be able to buy.
