I tend to think that folks who believe the hand cannon is now going to be garbage as a result of this "nerf" are a bit confused. A hand cannon should, in no way, be something akin to a scout rifle. At the present, some are legitimately on par with scout rifles, such as Fatebringer or Thorn, which makes little sense. I think tinkering with its damage/accuracy at range is smart.
