Well it's like sniping a knight. Yes they stagger but you can't restagger until the animation ends. With a shotgun that would result in getting 1 hit. Shotgun needs to be able to chain stagger on every precision hit where all pellets hit the crit point.[spoiler]though who knows. The damage buff could allow you to burst that knight in time before he regains control and crushes you.[/spoiler]
