A single day on Mars is about 43 minutes longer than a day on Earth. Their relative distance from the sun and difference in speed of orbit makes the temperatures on Mars much more varied from night to day. Earth's moon has a much more noticeable gravitational pull than bodies which orbit Mars. The atmosphere on Mars is much thinner than Earth's and contains much less oxygen. The atmosphere on Mars is thinner than that on earth so radiation penetrates to the surface easier but because Mars is further away the effects are lessened. So in answer to your query:

I don't think thats even true in the least. Mars is unimaginably far away from Earth and the Sun and Earth is like 5x bigger so Mars rotates way faster
-
Unimaginably? I'm pretty sure it can be imagined... and measured.
-
You can't even realistically imagine how big the earth is (besides relative size on picture charts) much less hundreds of millions of miles. idiot
-
How can you measure what is imaginable and unimaginable? What is the largest thing that can be imagined based off of your tool of measurement? How do you compare the capacity of one person's imagination to another while keeping your measurements constant? What variables do you add in to adjust your theory of containing one person's imagination vs. another's?... Idiot.

If you havent physically seen a reference of how big something is (especially in space) you cant really comprehend the numbers. we understand space through numbers not true comprehension. Without comprehension, your imagination is skewed and flawed

This might be the dumbest thing I've heard, size doesn't effect how fast a planet spins, it's the gravitational pull and if it's cold or hot it's not gonna effect the color of the planet, Mars has a thinner atmosphere than earths so It allows more heat in
