Membership: Clan vs Group
Clan membership requires one step beyond joining the group.
You must select the option to 'Set this Group as my PlayStation Clan' in order to be a member of the Clan and have the Clan Tag with your name. I believe you can access this option from the GamingSamurai group main page by choosing the "Interact" option.
If you only wish to be a group member, that is perfectly fine as well.
