I think you should have to unlock the 30+ gear by gaining a full set of VOG gear. That way people gain experience and you know that anyone over 30 has the experience. It frustrates the hell out of me when I end up in a team of 30+ and have to explain to them what to do.
You shouldn't even get taxied into a hard mode raid until you've completed it on normal.

Hah... ive run vog every week since release (and still do each week) and have yet to get a hunter chest piece. Soo... ahh... RNG? yeah./
-
I wouldn't say a FULL set... I never even got full sets and I still haven't seen a chestplate drop for any of my characters or when I had my titan.

So pwople just keep going i to raids that they are not prepared for? That's the stupid part. Might not have to be a full set then, but something shpuld be in place. Far too many people do a hard mode VOG because there are a high enough level only to turn roubd and say. I've never run VOG before, what do I do?
-
That's ridiculous because I've been playing since launch and have to acquire a full set of VoG gear.
-
That's... stupid. Given that pure luck is required to get raid armor. I keep running Crouton and I've gotten one piece, all I end up with is sharts and the occasional weapon. Leveling should not be tied to luck.

ive had a team with 2 raid noobs, never did the raid before the weekend and we did it on hard mode. took us 3 tries to kill Templar and 2 for atheon. if youre skilled you are,if you aren't you aren't. one of them one manned the Templar down to 1/3 of health with just the relics super(I watched as he practiced using it on him because he was damn good). itd suck if you had to get the pain in the ass raid gear just to get to 31. even more of a grind for lower players to catch up to players here before them.
