Is my LDR 5001 worth upgrading?
Hey all. Just wondering if it's worth it to fully upgrade my LDR. Is the gun worth it to spend the material and parts on? Or should I wait for another legendary drop and upgrade a different secondary? (This is my only legendary gun). Thanks!

Depends on the perks but it has great impact regardless. I upgraded 2 already and with the right perks it can be really nasty

Depends on the perks? Mine has void damage with firefly.

1 ReplyYes. I have it fully upgraded and it is great. Only Icebreaker stops me from using it all the time. But I use it if my Exotic slot is filled with Gjallarhorn.

Even with standard perks it is a good sniper - nothing fancy but gets the job done. If it was dropped (not bought from VG QM) it may have some perks on it that spruce it up a bit.

The perks you have on the gun are kind of bad. I recommend not leveling it past 306 damage. Armor piercing is a plus, and the scope is beautiful. keep it until you find a better one with useful perks.

It can play a big tole on crota bc you can hit the swordbearer through the rocks n things he hides behind im pretty sure

It's a good gun.... and I upgraded mine... but I don't think I've shot it once since maxing it with a Black Hammer in my inventory.

I keep it with me at all times it's a good rifle when I have an exotic primary equipped and can't use ice breaker or patience in time. Definitely my favorite legendary sniper rifle.

3 RepliesIf thats your only legendary then you should definitely upgrade it. I have one and have used it frequently especially for weekly stuff. It's a good weapon. Keep it dude!
