Autorifles are outclassed by handcannons and scouts for every situation. Why anyone uses them, is beyond me.

Vision of confluence is pretty much the only scout I use (mainly because of the true sight scope) and although it does get kills consistently I feel as though my Vanquisher zooms in quicker/is lighter. Maybe it's in my head but I feels like you can acquire a target faster with the AR. Hand cannons on the other hand... Nobody contests the mighty hawkmoon

If you dont have it get it when next IB comes. Its a three hit kill. Killtime is way faster than with Voc. With luck in the chamber, it almost becomes two hit kill.

What exactly is almost a 2 hit kill supposed to mean? It's either a 2 hit or it's not.

I have the perfect role for the V8, but I tried it out and ended up going right back to the Thorn. just didn't feel right

Auto rifles are better for people with poor aim. HCs and SRs reward skilled hands, but are weak when the player can't consistently chain head shots.

You can chain many headshots with ars and drop enemies really quick.

I was seriously gonna talk talk shit and defend auto rifles after looking at your "scrubby" crucible k/d then I looked and you're not even close to a scrub. So nvm auto rifles are for noobs. carry on.

It just depends on your style of play. Auto rifles are great for medium range combat. Personally I like close quarters with my shotgun so I always try to avoid medium range combat by luring my enemie close to me. If not i use my hand canon for medium range, scouts in crucible just aren't as good except for long range which I never do.
