Anyone with an interest in riddling is welcome. 1) Be respectful of others in the group wall. (We'd love it if you respected others outside the wall as well, however.) 2) No LFG or Spam of any kind in the group wall, unless specified by an admin (There should be an LFG post of some sort in the private section of this group's forum. If not, it's coming soon.) 3) We are here for riddling, so try to keep the chat as focused as possible on riddling-related conversation. If the chat is dead, meaningless chatter is okay, just don't clutter the chat with non-riddling things if someone is seeking feedback or the like. 4) If you aren't sure that a riddle will be well-received or you think the riddle may be faulty for whatever reason, ask me (Cadence) or an admin to review it (we have a rep to uphold, can't be shoveling out faulty riddles). I promise we won't guess, and if someone does, I'll kick them myself.

Riddle of a Contender

Good morning, Riddlers and #Destiny. Since yesterday's riddle was a complete dump, I made my hardest riddle yet! Good luck, you'll need it. An endless paradox. An unstoppable force. A contender of ancient evil, evil decapitated, yet not. Perhaps I was made in his presence, along with my contents and symbolism. All know me, all pursue me. A lord of the sky, a lord of radiance, I lay to rest on your true goal. But am I truly resting, Guardian? Come, face me, and take your prized possessions. Fight. Kill. Survive. Winner: DeathDealer496 Answer:
Phoenix on chest in the lighthouse
Explanation:
An endless paradox. An unstoppable force. A contender of ancient evil, evil decapitated, yet not. This talks about Osiris. An endless paradox is the VoG, an unstoppable force is the Vex, and Osiris fought the Gorgons in the VoG before he decoded the Vex. Gorgons were part of Greek mythology, monsters turning you to stone in one look. Perseus decapitated Medusa, a Gorgon, but not a Vex Gorgon. Perhaps I was made in his presence, along with my contents and symbolism. The chest is linked to the Trials of Osiris, along with the Phoenix. The rest is pretty self-explanatory.
--------------------------------------------------- Like I said, this is my hardest riddle yet, Guardians! Good luck, and don't give up. Hints may come soon, yes? Also, if you liked this riddle, why not join Destiny Riddlers? We're always looking for more intelligent minds to join our 240+ member group. Solve many more awesome riddles, and make your own! Edit 1: Apex Predator will be helping answer you guys. We have had some fairly close answers so keep thinking! Cheers, CREEP1NGDEATH21
