Cursed Thrall It kills you fairly easily, so it's the opposite of the life giver in the first line. It went from a regular thrall, to a demonized explode-y, so that covers the second line. The "light" would be that of will, and instead of will, the thrall has a steady yet short life (you know, because at one point they have to explode). Their will was probably given to a new-born regular thrall, covering the fourth line. The duel meanings? It is a symbol of life that gives out only death I'm probably wrong, but that's the best I got.
