Weapon/armour ascension question.
Have only started seriously raiding since joining the clan, so although I have a 34 character I am short of elemental primaries or ascended legendaries. Would be nice to tick off the skolas triumph but I'm concerned my underpowered weapons are going to be a serious drawback. I could grind some 32/34 Poe, but with TTK round the corner are weapons what I need to be ascending? Would it be better to dump the armour cores/ etheric light into my 32 Titan armour to get it up to 34 before TTK drops?
Bit of a long one but to finish just wanted to say that joining the Tigers has opened up a whole new Destiny experience which I am enjoying immensely, thanks to all my fellow Tigers for that.

I pumped my characters upto 34 with armour core only and ascended weapons with the EL, but you need 365 weapons for POE 35. the benefit in completing the Moments of Triumphs prior to TTK release is that all weapons within TTK shall be unlocked on that day. Keep leveling up; but at some point i think you may have to complete your triumphs and face/defeat skolas. otherwise you may have to wait to january 2016 for the full unlocks to take effect (if my information is correct that is?). if i am wrong i'll happily stand corrected.

Hmm from what I've read the green engram weapons / armour well be picking up right from the start will be more powerful that our current stuff. Think it's gonna be a case of maxing your crucible and vanguard marks and stock piling coins and motes. Also get your factions close to leveling up, but saying that when HOW dropped I got naff all from my vendor packages...

I'm all about weapons. Armor can always be found at high light level. Or bought from Variks. Etheric light for me is only for weapons. But only my opinion

7 RepliesHey Stevo. Just out of interest, which weapons do you have at the moment? For the taken king I'll just be using my hunter, levelling him up to max before my others. Are you planning on using one or both characters?
