Any one interested in weapon damage?
At the start of January I started looking into weapon damage in destiny, having gotten a little bored of the usual "fly here" "kill this" "protect me" "I'VE AWOKE THE HIVE" from dinklebot.
I thought I'd stumbled across the answer after a week or two and asked reddit, quickly got downvoted.
after I saw the open house on the feedback forums last night I decided to put my work out there again, and I got the first reply from one of the sandbox devs. Love how cryptic they are with giving anything away, but he said I'm on the right track.
I'd love to get these calculations and the actual working damage calculator out for more people to see and use, as people are still confused about how weapons work, and what to look for in a weapon.

1 Replyreally cool stuff, I used to get into this heavily when I played COD. Only discrepancy I have with your data is the Vex dps. I use shadow price and suros in multiplayer, and get outgunned by the Vex all the time. I'm not a pro but do pretty well, and always count hits. Shot 4 shot Vex is still overpowered even after the nerf.
