Better, yes. All it could be....not yet. They have resolved farming resources, but not included a way to sell them. They have resolved the exotics (a bit) but still not set up a trading post, so the game is getting a bit segregated into the people who do raids, those who do raids and crucible, and PvE players (those who do neither). It is much harder in Crucible if you don't have raid gear....which could be resolved by giving all a standard kit, and let skill not weaponry decide, and leave iron banner for the Vexers. The bump in leveling made VOG (Vault of Glass) gear marginalized except for the raid. However there are some cool fixes...notably Thorn is now much more lethal, and Bad Juju is actually useful. Oh by the way NEVER buy No Land Beyond....ever...even if you are really drunk...ever...unless you are such an avid collector that you want the worst gun ever in the collection.......and even then don't buy it. Unless you are a true masochist and like respawning in a hindu reincarnation way and even then your Karma will be terrible because you actually bought that gun. Getting an engram is different....but with the limited vault space view it as an exotic shard waiting to be unwrapped..
