Interesting requests from the kids
One of my son's birthdays is next thursday. For his cake he has requested to help make his own cake. His request Blue devils cake (a blue version of red velvet) with red cream cheese frosting. I know that the frosting will work but not sure how the blue chocolate cake will work. Pictures will be forth coming. It just got me wondering what strange requests have you gotten from your kids?

1 ReplyMy kids asked for a PB&J cake for their birthdays a few years ago. I'm good in the kitchen, but inexperienced with baking, cakes, pastries, etc. Fortunately, it came out really well, so it is frequently requested now.

5 RepliesEdited by Nymphilis: 11/19/2014 3:17:43 AMShould work, do not use a chocolate cake mix instead make it from scratch with blue food dye...and use cooking cocoa powder...like to make it super chocolaty you need to use sweetened condensed milk and cocoa oil(basically what makes white chocolate).
