RNG Luck stories
I know many of us curse the RNG in Destiny at times but sometimes it smiles on us and I wanted to share my positive story.
I have a warlock at low 29 and was saving my shards to upgrade armor that can get to 30 light.
I owned:
- Queen's helmet
- Vanguard gauntlets
- exotic chest
- raid boots
I was working Iron Banner to be able to buy the gauntlets but would still need a helmet.
Friday and Saturday were crazy!
I played Iron Banner for a few hours and did raid on hard for first time. Paid Xur a visit too.
I've gotten:
- an exotic helmet from Xur engram
- 2 Timur's Lash in IB
- Raid chestpiece
- 2 Fatebringers
- Universal Remote
- Legendary ship (Glass Minuet) from raid
Now I can get to 30 with:
- exotic helmet
- IB gauntlets
- raid chest piece
- raid boots
And have some crazy weapons to fool around with.
Should I buy the lottery today?

2 RepliesPsycho played the iron banner....he came first on his team with 4k points. He got nothing However there was an inactive with 0 points on psychowarren102's team....he got icebreaker.

Today and yesterday I've had a purple engram drop from a dreg during patrol, one decoded into shards and the other 77-Wizard. Also got Jolders Hammer from IB two days ago. Before all that though I think I've gotten like three legendaries from RNG

Didn't do bad this week...bought Mida from Xur, picked up Timur and invisible hand in the IB, went to Saladin and bought boots and sleeves...ran a raid w some friends and got gjallajorn..so can't complain.

I played the Iron Banner the other day got first place. 31 kills. The person below me got 18 kills. I got both Jolders Hammer( Solar) and Thunderlord. Got a bunch of msgs of people telling me they hated me. Lol

1 ReplyRan a bunch of Tiger Strikes back to back one day, picked up a ton of blues. On the last strike I happened to get two legendary engrams. When I went to the Cryptarch, three of the blues became Final Boss, Unfriendly Giant, and Invisible Hand. The two legendary engrams turned into Lucky Raspberry and Universal Remote. That was a good day.

4 RepliesThis might not sound too impressive, but last night I did the eagle strike for my first time as a 24 warlock. The match ends and I get a rare chest piece big woop. I get to the tower and the postmaster is lit up. I head over and he says oh you missed this purple engram. I gave him a hug and headed over to the cryptarch and he turned it into a legendary machine gun The Swarm. Needless to say I was very happy.

No armor drops worth anything tho bought all that oh n scrapped a comedian and two pulse rifles not my thing

4 RepliesFunny the things we do to gain battlefield toys. I too grinded for 6 hrs (a night) wed thru fri for iron banner goodies. Was aiming for the scout rifle a level 5 reputation to buy it, but xur (santa) showed up and wentmida multi-tool instead,cants stop shootin and cleaning it. By saturday i figured i was mid level 3 andicould afford the iron banner sexy boots, stopped there, with an iron banner shader to boot. Now i feel like an expensive call girl. Done with iron banner, now its time to level up all the toys. After a lil 48 hr destiny vacay.

RNG hates me after completing six raids I have gotten the chest piece and hard light an exotic auto rifle and found verdict that's it have yet to have a legendary engram drop at cryptarch rank 8

The coolest thing I've earned was Gjallahorn as a nightfall reward.

Nice to see its working for somebody..lol... i got a legendary engram from a chest on the moon... i was stoked till dicksmack turned it into 2 shards....and i got disconnected like 10 times last night..
