How are you preparing for Tuesday updates?
Naturally many of us are excited for Tuesday even if we don't have the DLC purchased because we still get access to new legendary weapons, gear that can go to 31 and more powerful exotics.
I've read about about people storing up bounties to turn in after and level up new equipment, maxing marks and saving them plus glimmer farming of course.
I didn't do much except the following:
- pause my Thorn bounty
- bought 3 exotic shards from Xur
- upgraded as many solar weapons to 300 as possible
- saving marks (you still need the new Commendations from what I understand)
Tonight is all about glimmer.
What are are others doing?

7 RepliesSpending as much time with the wife as possible and earning those housework marks that i can trade in for time playing Destiny.

I spent some time levelling up the raid chest piece and helm Xur was selling to get to 30..besides that just grinding away levels on solar based weapons so I'm as maxed as possible for Crota's End. Almost good to go, have some more grinding to do tonight to get a few up to 300 damage only to do it all over again after doing the raid once to get them to DLC max next :).

Spending time with the wife and kids... took wedneaday off of work so I can play all tues night and get ready for my groups raiding on wed.

Edited by gforce: 12/8/2014 4:19:56 AMI've been doing bounties on two of my characters to get rep up with vanguard, just made rank 3 and 4. My main is already rank 9. Thinking new gear will require higher rank. I have 195-200 marks on 2 and about 170 on third. Also stock piling coins, ascendant material and motes. All hoping to be able to buy a lot of gear Tuesday and Friday with Xur. Edit: also left legendary packages with postmaster. I keep maxing glimmer out and have to buy ammo so I can have room to gain more so no problem there. Gotta afford the 7k for each upgrade. Lol

I've stopped putting any leveling into exotics since I'll eventually upgrade them all and loose all progression... saving up glimmer for exotic conversion.
