New Raid VS Old Raid
Last night was our first go at CE and all in all it was fun and frustrating. We played for about 2 hours and maybe got halfway. It was fun figuring it out but we needed to take a break. Then we decided to do a VoG run, and it was so much fun. We blasted through it, doing things we had never tried, mostly doing it to get shards and energy. So just a reminder, if Crota is becoming too much, take a break with Atheon.

Even though I have ran the Devils Lair so many time since Beta I still enjoy doing it. Just like VoG I still enjoy it, and like doing it even if I don't need any gear. CE is a lot of fun and challenging, but there is only one part I really enjoy (2nd checkpoint). I have not beat it yet, but the rest seems like DPS check. VoG has more mechanics I enjoy working through.

1 ReplySame thing with my group. We got frustrated with crota and almost at each other. Went and and did hard vog and had fun with that. Then we split up in 2 groups to see which group could finish the nightfall strike first. Really worked out for us. One guy got vex mythoclass from atheon, I completed my invective bounty from nightfall, another person got dragonsbreath, and another person had a legendary engram turn into the new exotic primary sniper. Awesome night!
