I feel so dirty
Took part in the Crota cheese last night .
Got a great drop as well..... So ashamed . Lol

Yet they stopped us pushing the templar off, seems like if they mess up its "we are working on it" but if we exploit then its "u cheat, u get banned". No glitches, no cheating, perfect world. Until then its free for all

1 ReplySo you're saying....it ain't easy being cheesy? I feel ya took part in some atheon cheese but after the feeling of beating him legit I vowed "Never again!".... cheesing it just doesn't have the same satisfaction...like the difference between " polishing your relic" and getting laid.

2 RepliesI don't really have a problem with cheese IF you can do the fight legit. Sometimes doing the Raid is going through the motions just to get the necessary gear.

I was in a group working on it. Had several players drop and we would add in others, to be honest when a guy joined in he suggested the cheese and at that point everyone was like heck yeah this dude just needs to die at this point. What turned out to be almost two hours later of the constant go to orbit crap and it not working crota survived because everyone was burnt out of dropping from orbit over and over and the cheese did nothing but STINK.. To be honest it was a waste of two hours in my destiny world that would have been better served just playing straight up and working on comms, and team work to take him down. I am no expert but in my time in DB raid it seems there is less team work and way more chaos then VOG. I mean simple call outs help so much ( like when sniping the boomers on left and right zoomed in and oh by the way you may want to move because the knight on the ground didn't get cleared) I don't have any problem cheesing, it is not cheating because you find a way to win. Improvise, adapt, overcome. But I will say the success of a fire team working together to drop him will feel way better then whatever loot that gets dropped for cheesing it.

Groups relying on a cheese will be unable to beat Crota legit once it's patched, and it will be patched quickly. Templar/Atheon example And this is only Normal mode, and 2 weeks in Bungie knows the glitches they need to fix already. Good luck.

1 ReplyI dunno. Sometimes, cheesing can be fun; the sense that you have gotten away with something, or discovered a secret is often exciting. In the end, tho, I think a legit win us always more satisfying. That said, is finishing the Abyss portion via Lamp Jumping considered cheese? I soloed that the other night with my son's Warlock, and it wasn't easy. As many times as I've been blown across the map in legit runs, I feel the damn lamps SHOULD be exploited.

We ended up doing the same thing. Tried and tried but something kept happening or his shield would glitch and regen while we were still shooting him. Got so sick of it just went for it. Got the shader, some shards and hunger of crota (raid rocket launcher). I always have mixed feelings on cheese.

2 RepliesWe did the same thing. I got the raid ship and a heavy machine gun called Song of Ir Yut. Apparently it can shoot through knight shields of darkness. Pretty sweet!

Lol my group had major issues cheesing it last night. We finally got it after 6 attempt but yea I love the drops it gave I got the shotgun

3 RepliesI did too. Our hunter couldn't get into rhythm when Crota kneeled down and it was late so we all agreed to cheese and try again another time. I got Light of the Abyss which I'm not exactly thrilled about since I have Murmur and will be upgrading that soon.
