I've not played the raid yet. But been watching tons of videos and the solo Crota ones. If a guy can solo Crota with No Land Beyond and solar grenades it sure can't be that hard with a group. Honestly the whole part with the witches seems like the most painful. Crota is just shoot knights, shoot sword beater. Fire rocket Crota, sword Crota, rinse repeat. The Crota dashboard exploit may also have been hot fixed.

Yep, been there. Not sure why people feel they must beat Crota each time. Why do we fail? To learn. Do it legit, learn why it's not working. Spend an hour failing, stop, take a break. We don't have to "beat it" we have to learn how to beat it. Watch all the You tube videos you want, but its not going to make you a better player, unless you fail, fail again, and overcome why you fail. My biggest pet-peeve of Multiplayer games, people want the easy way every time and have to finish it every time… I just enjoy playing, win or lose. Of course team work and equipment will make the challenge less difficult

Edited by naturl selexion: 12/30/2014 6:54:23 PMI do believe the Xbox Live terms of service expressly prohibits network manipulation. If there is any cheese that is ban-worthy, it's this one. I haven't done it and I won't do it, but I have been in a party where someone else did it. Last time we fought Crota our party members were complaining that we wouldn't cheese Crota - a couple of them left making it harder to get a full fire team.

Agreed I have spent more time in fire teams trying to get the monster to kneel and freeze with it not working then just fighting it out straight up. The toughest part is getting all 6 together communicating and doing the roles needed to beat him. Very frustrated so far in the attempts I have been apart of to drop Crota.
