Badger CCL vs Another NITC
I'm looking for a new Vanguard scout and wondered about people's thoughts on the above guns. Currently using B Line Trauma and before that Gheleons Demise - I like both for different reasons.
Any users of CCL or NITC got any opinions - they would be much appreciated.

Don't buy either from the vendors use Crucible and Vanguard ROC to get it to drop had both and both with firefly perks. NOTE: Vendors sell the watered down version with no firefly. I have beaten both Crota and Atheon using the Badger many times now it rips. Also I am in DADSofDESTINY and out of the many clans we have I play with 2 of the clans and most if us use as a scout rifle the CCL or Vision of Confluence. Hope this helps

Edited by TankOfTheFranks: 1/24/2015 5:10:32 PMI bought my badger from vngrd vendor, lucky rd n return missing rd perks only. Hit really hard out of the box, now leveled n boy does it do dmg. U notice it on the yellow bars. In the end, yes fire rate is a bit less, but the quick load upgrade node makes up for that. Ive got a beast n its only knock is no firefly. Oh, not sure about the sights. If you're koo-koo for sights, google these scout rifles review's. The gun sights may b a deal breaker.

Love my Nitc, it didn't get the firefly perk but does have explosive rounds and I preferred it to the badger for its fire rate

As I read the perks of others who have Badger or NitC I have found that mine has different perks. I like my badger for the explosive rounds and firefly. While I have another Badger with explosive rounds and rangefinder. My NitC has send it and mulligan. I prefer the Badger with explosive rounds and firefly.

5 RepliesI've got a couple NITC with lame perks but it's a good scout - nothing fancy If you get your hands on a Crypt Dweller, give it a good go before dismantling it - crazy fast fire rate and reload I like scouts so I carry more than 1 for different situations.

3 RepliesEdited by loot junky: 1/23/2015 11:02:59 AMIt all depends on the stat roll and what you're using it for. My nitc has added range and third eye. Ideal for pvp, not great for pve. I had a ton of scouts so I may be confusing with another rifle. But I think the badgers's base stats fired too slow for my liking. Edit- FWC the calling better than both.

1 ReplyOther posters are correct that it depends on the stat roll that day. I have all 3 you mentioned (Gheleon's Demise with armor piercing rounds and firefly for PvP). My BadgerCCL has: - Who's next? - Sigle point sling/Hammer forged/Custom optics - Grenadier Magazine: 14 My Another NITC has: - Luck in the chamber - High caliber rounds/Send It/Custom Optics - Rangefinder Magazine: 20 More bullets is always good and none of those perks make any of them standout so Another NITC would be my choice if I didn't have my Vision of Confluence. Full auto+27 bullets+solar damage is addictive, especially against Wizards.

2 RepliesI have a badger I've been leveling. It's got a lot of good. The impact is crazy, and the luck in the chamber can be great when it hits at the right moment. That said the fire rate is s bit slow. Sometimes when I'm getting swarmed I feel like I can't get shots off fast enough. The reload is pretty swift, so I don't worry about the clip size, but you should definitely be aware that it's only 14 rounds per mag. Overall I like it, but it isn't a spectacular gun.
