Anyone know a good armor combo theory crafting website

I'd like a good resource to help find the perfect armor perk combos for my play style. Any recommendations.

I use PlanetDestiny.com and Destinydb.com to look at info for all pieces of armor. You didn't identify your play style and preferred weapons matter. The following are my personal opinions. Three things affect your armor choices: (1) PvE or PvP? (2) Playstyle (3) Weapon class preference The most important things as you should already know are: Intellect - focused on your super Discipline - focused on grenades Strength - focused on your melee The second most important are the perks such as carrying more ammo for specific weapon classes. Faction armor combined with the right Crucible, Vanguard and Exotic armor is key. Vanguard and Crucible armor focus on two attributes dependent on your class choice. The Warlock Vanguard for example offers armor that boosts intellect and discipline or intellect and strength while the Hunter Vanguard armor can either boost intellect and discipline or discipline and strength. Future War Cult - boosts intellect and discipline - best for ranged playstyle (supers and grenades) - recommended for Warlock (especially Voidwalker with axion bolt grenade) and Hunter Gunslinger PvE Dead Orbit - armor improves discipline and strength - best for up close attack playstyle - recommended for Hunters and Striker Titans New Monarchy - armor improves intellect and strength - best for defensive playstyle - recommended for Defender Titan (regen shield faster and melee enemies that walk into it) Weapon Preference For gear that you can buy, Helmets, Gauntlets and Chest armor all have 2 perks. Leg armor only has one perk, usually more ammo. I buy armor based on this priority order: - boost the attributes I want - provide extra ammo for my preferred weapon class - speed up recharge of my super Since I am a range player I built my main character around Intellect/Discipline and scout rifles. This means the following: - gauntlets with Scout Rifle Loader perk - leg armor with Scout Rifle Ammo perk On my Warlock that means: - Dusk Tread VII helmet from Vanguard (replenishes super with grenade kills) - Gloves of No Tomorrow from Future War Cult (scout rifle loader perk and increases grenade through distance) - Dusk Tread VI from Vanguard (scout rifle ammo perk) (Alternative: Iron Regalia Gloves and Iron Regalia Boots from Iron Banner) I have all 3 exotic chests so I use Voidfang Vestments as a Voidwalker and Heart of the Praxic Fire when playing as a Sunsinger (tend to equip a Vex Mythoclast as well since it increases Fusion Rifle ammo). My Starfire Protocol is for when I want an extra fusion grenade or want my Voidwalker to carry the Vex Mytoclast (I have an alt Warlock Sunsinger mainly built for raiding). My Hunter is designed for scout rifle and Gunslinger in Crucible so ammo perks are not important to me. I do however have a PvE build designed around invis and Crota's End. Helmet - Achlyophage Symbiote (extra shot for golden gun, grenades kills replenish super, increased grenade throw distance) Gauntlets - Justicar's Grip from New Monarchy (Scout Rifle Loader perk) Chest - Gravebreaker 1.3 (boosts intellect and strength - done for my throwing knife/blink strike) Legs - Iron Regalia boots (boosts intellect and discipline, scout rifle ammo perk for PvE) I also have Don't Touch Me exotic gauntlets specifically for the lamp section of Crota's End and my alt helmet is the Jackknife 3.2 from Vanguard (boosts intellect and discipline, melee attacks reduce grenade cooldown and replenish super energy with grenade kills). As you can see, I am very thorough in evaluating my armor purchases before buying them or leveling them up. I hope this was helpful to you and other readers.
