I am giving out my retirement plan but since gaming is going to be the next boom for adult entertainment the market will be there. 1) the market is centered around console gaming period. So small seating areas think like a bowling alley style but instead of a lane in the middle it is a sick screen and their favorite game console and title they want to play for the time they rent the booth. 2) Adult night club theme to lighting and music so when the non gamers are there for hours they feel like they are in a club not just sitting there watching gamers, which they could do at home for free by the way! 3) Full bar, full menu, find your niche market i the area and go with it, some possibilities are Irish pub style, college pub style, dance club, modern. whatever floats they biggest market share in your area, tip here that doesn't always mean what we like personally. If you are gonna just do it the way you would like it save yourself the money and embarrassment of a failed business and remodel your garage as a gaming room. wide market interest dictates success. 4) have the cash flow for a 24 month operation at minimum it is still a young buisness plan and gamers are not used to going out to do their gaming nor spending the money to do it. But i believe when it brings in a social aspect of going out as a group and a few happen to be gamers it will catch on. I know most of the wives and people that live with gamers would love it. 5) have local tournaments for game types and systems, maintain leader boards come up with your own achievement system or player tracking system be creative players love stats! 6) if you have anymore questions just ask me...lol

large tables for the table top games, I'm a Battletech junkie (with drink holders on the side)

I'm lucky.. I have one of these. It's called 'Battle & Brew'. Their old location had two hub stations (8 PCs a piece) with fully network gigabit connections offering every PC title you can probably think of from shooter, RTS, to MMO. Then they had tables for board games, table top warfare, pen & paper. Plus four 60" tvs with consoles of your choice (32bit and up no 16 or 8bit). It's $20 for all day gaming access on PC, console access was about $10 per 3~4 hour block I think. They had mostly local craftstuff on tap Sweetwater, Redhouse Brewing, etc (georgia locals) plus a few familiars. The kitchen could whip up full meals, apps, sides, and it was delicious. They are currently closed as they move into a new location they have some details here: http://us3.campaign-archive2.com/?u=2778b38d793b7ad24a715152c&id=e363b47371 And their FB: https://www.facebook.com/battleandbrew Maybe we should talk to them about National Franchises?

You mean, this place? Had a few friends over for my birthday a few years back and any to check it out. Best way to waste an entire night. Also, TMNT is still amazing.

I guess you would probably want to have several game systems; PS4, XB1, Wii U, PS3, 360, and PC's all available for play. Wi-Fi, some big screens locked on Popular twitch streams and MLG TV. Game memorabilia and the like. Also I'd say craft beers since it seems like a lot of guys here drink that as well as your basic domestics and liquors. Atmosphere probably dark with neons. Probably weekly/daily tournaments or leagues for different games, Madden, COD, DOTA, etc. I'd say throw in some old school arcade machines too to bring up nostalgia maybe some old school systems too. Sounds like a good idea but with some high costs upfront and barriers to entry being a niche market. You could also though advertise that before like 8 or 9 pm that booze sales are limited or not sold to attract a younger demo to broaden you consumer base, just a thought. good luck.

Chicago has a couple, I've only been to HQ Barcade. Lots of craft beers in the menu, all games are free play. Lots of pinball, couple blitz machines. I think the best is that they have a few multiplayer games, such as xmen 6-player, Simpsons 4-player. Nothing is bad about the place, they have signs up saying "please play and then move in so others can enjoy."

Sounds like you are talking about a LAN center.

sounds like "Dave & Busters"
