I just bought a 42" LG TV for my man cave for the same reason. Wife and I are having our first in two months and she asked me to move my violent games out of the family room. The new TV is fantastic. It's an LED, which gives a much sharper picture than our 50 plasma in the family room. I also like the way LG is making their TVs this year with legs on the left and right instead of one central base. It's much more sturdy!

Edited by F1Cheetor: 1/19/2015 6:20:59 AMI think I am getting rusty in knowing how to leave a reply to a thread. I wanted to share that I play on an LG 27inch monitor 1080P with 5MS response time. It's perfect for my play/office room and hangs on a wall above my old school teacher's desk. I would highly recommend it. However they are no longer available to buy. LG is also a very good product or has at least been for me.
