Glimmer Bank (Don't Let The Glimmer Cap Limit Your Fortune!)
While no such thing exists in the world of Destiny you can use your Vault as such by depositing any House Banners, Silken Codex, Axiomatic Beads, and Network Keys you obtain instead of cashing them in at the Cryptarch. I took to this method shortly after the last Iron Banner event before the DLC release and I've currently saved 51 House Banners, 33 Silken Codex, 19 Axiomatic Beads, and 10 Network Keys which comes to 22,600 Glimmer. Almost doubling the in game Glimmer cap in about 2 months. I hope this helps some of my fellow Guardians quell any future Destiny financial problems.

Before bay doors open, consume your cabal thingy, when they open, run like the dickens to the left. All the way to the left to big rock sticking out of side of mtn. I think the last obstacle b 4 u go OB. Both cabal ships will b out firing rockets n stuff. Don't....DO NOT bother with non yellow bars. The 1st wave of red bar cabal will cower n retreat, no worries. Waste yellow bars, run n pik up goodies. Once dun, run towards hangar/bay doors n let all red bar cabal kill u. U die fast BTW. Rinse n repeat. I was so hammered when I did this so I can't remember actual figures, but u do the math. Less time u spend wasting yellows in 10 mins = glimmer drunk.

1 ReplyI haven't even banked mine, I have just been carrying them in my inventory. But same basic idea, hold on to the items and only turn them in if you need to do a massive set of upgrades.

1 ReplyGood tip :) also a few weeks before dlc drops ( or even now if like me your all good for weapons armour ) start stockpiling as many legendary engrams as you can in vault or on characters ( even start a 2nd or 3rd just to use as a mule ) so then after dlc drops you will get the new higher rated versions of armour/weapons :) Sure most ppl do this but just a little heads up if someone doesn't know !
