I know what ya mean. Almost every strike I get into, the other two just take off an blow past all the enemies. They only do the main events. Sometimes I just like wiping everything out of an area. When I skip everything it feels too much like grinding and it's not as fun.

Very awesome read sadly I feel the same at times.

Whilst doing some ROC strikes a while back, I came across some A hole who thought it was more fun to hop on one of the tank, pike things during the Cerebus Vale strike, and try to run over his fellow guardians. After killing both of us a couple times, myself and the other guy just unloaded rockets, gernades, pocket infinity you name it on this joker. And didn't stop till he got the point and left.

I have just switched my mark farming, I now just planet hop public events. Easier to do solo and a bunch bigger chance of shards and energy. I do strikes with clan mates, but rarely with people I don't know.

it's posts like these that make me really wonder why people want raid matchmaking.

anything called a pug is ugly :P

Yeah, you get a few bad ones, especially at first. I seemed to attract a lot of kids (literally, one kid stopped a raid, not left, just asked us to hold up, because "My mom said I need to take a bath.") at first. But, I kept going, and now I've got lots of older and better players. In fact, it's to the point where I enjoy taking less-experienced people along and showing them the ropes. Go to dadsofdestiny.net and search in the members area for people with your console. I only added those that had changed their avatar/profile pic, as I figured they were more active. Then, 2 nights ago, I sent something like 40 friend requests out. Most were accepted. Now, I have no problem logging in and finding a dozen or more Dads online doing a little of everything. And, without exception so far, they are all cool and nice.

Edited by Evolution: 1/27/2015 11:40:40 PMYeah I got stuck with a guy that ran through the entire strike without fighting anyone, including the boss. Anytime we had to fight he just hid in a corner where he couldn't be hurt. At one point during the boss fight I jumped into his hiding spot and gave him a single punch to the face to let him no I wasn't happy. For several minutes after this act he continued to run and hop around in my face so I couldn't get a clear view or shot at the boss. Coincidentally his PSN was Doucher something something. Very fitting for a player of his intent...

I go a fast as the slowest player on a strike as I prefer to do them as a team. If everyone wants to speed through the strike that's fine, I'm happy to run past enemies but if one person rushes ahead and the other is taking their time I will stay back. It's more fun as a team.
