I need a better sniper rifle
I need a better sniper for raid content. I am just not doing enough damage with my current piece of c.
I didn't get the spindle yet and have my eye on 1000 yard stare as the next purchase... But there may be something else out there I do not know about.
Does anyone have a great sniper that they can recommend "shooting" for?
Im doing 50-60K top damage on ogre with weapons of light and most people tell me they are close to 100K... Something is terribly wrong here :)

1 ReplyI went and got the black spindle at 310. But I didn't like it much and it takes up an exotic slot so I infused it into my 1000yard to make it 308!!! It hits like a truck and has better perks. And I went and bought a replacement spindle from kiosk and the back up is 300 so feel like it was a good trade. It feels like I get 1000 yard from every vangaurd package.

Black spindle, here after, 1000yard, still piercer and the raid sniper are the best ones.....especially for the raid itself

Im seeing some options now... First choice is still 1000 yard stare if I have to buy something. But as drops these are way to go: Efrideet's Spear Stillpiercer Eirene RR4

There's also a very big differance in dammage of weapons when your light is 295 or 298 basicy the higher light you are the more Dammage buff you get. I was studying Exotic armours last night and they also come with Dammage buffs too. It realy pays to read different stats on both weapons and armour. For example take myself Seros Ragine has a chance to Regenerate Health when you hit a enemery. I have seen Helmets that when you pick up a orbe you restore all your health I'm into restoring my health in a big way but that's for me. My point is Study the stats of everything so every bit of gear increases your over all attack power.

I use the exotic one or my dead orbit both deal good damage.

Its kind of like ice breaker. It's got some interesting perks, at least on my roll. When its fully leveled it emits a large flash when it hit someone that blinds others in the area.
