16 RepliesSo some old man told me to come introduce myself here. I am in the clan (the tag showed up on the 27th during the beta!) and I am looking forward to hopefully playing some strikes and crucible matches with some others that realize that life is too short to waste it calling other people online horribly racist and misanthropic things. I'm 29 and I consider myself in that "young enough to keep trying but old enough to know better" age. I have been playing games since the NES days (and some Atari 2600 skirmishes at a family member's house before that.) I play all sorts of games (besides sports games) and would be interested in playing others as well. I usually play single player games though. I am very much looking to [b]Destiny[/b], MGS: Phantom Pain, eVolve, some other multiplayer games and a whole slew of single player games. What am I like online? Sarcastic. Self deprecating. And prone to periods of silence. I YEARN for the day when I can play a game online with friends again (like in the early PS2/Xbox 360 days) and have casual conversation but then matches with good communication about where to go and where the enemy is. Isn't that what playing online should be about? Here's the deal, though: I am a queer individual that is in a partnership with a man that is 45 years old. He has a major in interdisciplinary arts and a minor in women & gender studies. SO, you could say that I probly won't be the best person to speak to about "bitches" and "why they should be making me a sandwich." If you are still interested in playing Destiny and other online games together then prepare yourself for a dark and perverted sense of humor, a general disdain for children (all ages), and some rather average FPS skills. Add me! =]

7 RepliesHaving gone through the posts it seems like I have most of the clan by at least 3 decades. At age 69 (70 in 3 days) I have children older than most of you (3 aged 45, 44 & 42) grandchildren in their 20's and one great-grandchild. After college spent 24 years with IBM as an advisory programmer then decided I needed my independence and ran my own restaurant for 20 years. Now retired and live in North Carolina where I golf 4 days a week and play games most every night. Love playing with adults. Destiny is my first foray into the multiplayer environment and my first experience had a couple of 14 yr olds yelling at me using unbelievably foul language (WTF). My advice to you all is to not lose your love of playing games, it keeps you young.

Lol for an Old Man Clan, the largest demographic is the youngest! I fall in the oldest - I think you need a 50, or 55+ choice - I feel left out!

5 RepliesHi, I'm 45 and female. You may be asking, "why is she part of OMC?". My brother joined whilst playing Birds of Steel and since I am new to the "clan" concept, asked if I could join. I was welcomed! :) Currently level 28 warlock and doing my first VOG tonight thanks to Frigono. I'm very glad to be playing with adults. No hassles, no insults, just fun... As it should be.

Got a alienware gaming pc too(well exactly same spec, components but £2000 cheaper by building it my self)..... This is my first clan experience and I like it so far... Tried online multi player before one of the cod's but kept getting killed as soon as I spawned in by spawn point campers, so gave up on that...... I like pve more than pvp ...... Like most of u, I've been into gaming since the old BBC computers. B4 attari ect.. It's only recently that I've made the jump over 2 ps4 from Xbox. I've got to say I'm impressed.... Should of done it ages ago Lol.... I'll still play on both, all my m8's r on Xbox, I'm Billy no m8's on the playstation. And I'm all about playing as part of a team..... Love playing tactically. I'm not about k/d, just having a blast.... ...
