Court of Oryx. Raised from 270 to 280 in 3 runs

I can add that just because a weapon or armor is a higher light level doesn't automatically make it good. Different people play differently. If you're not sure about a peice of armor or a weapon, don't hesitate to ask around and make sure you don't disassemble a rare find. Try it out and make sure you like/dislike it.

I would grind a LOT of strikes nonstop so you have a better chance of getting engrams with Vanguard Streak.I would do it with friends by the way.

Run strikes a lot and piles of court of oryx. You need engrams to decrypt to get items to infuse. Do the raid once you get to the right level. 290+. Your drops will be between 300 and 310. Unless u have lots of time and run three characters, leveling can take awhile.

Yeah they do say patience is a virtue but when you run around on your own things are hard to do and getting that next drop is very sweet, took me awhile to get to 295 and at present i've been stuck there for a few weeks now. I know a good drop will come along but I could always use help myself

A huge part of finding help is to offer it, even if it means sitting in a corner on a strike that you can't do damage to the boss in, just for the purpose of going for that clutch revive. But patience is the best way. Be sure to go on some mini strike marathons and summon foes in the court of oryx, and decrypt your engrams while wearing your best gear! That's how you find stuff with better light!

I definitely agree that patience is the best way to increase light level. As many know, drops are completely random and those may take time to materialize. Waiting for higher level drops may get tiring after a while, but I assure you that you'll eventually find something at a higher light level than any part of your gear, so you can infuse it or just change it altogether to raise said light level (If you're not sure how certain pieces of equipment will change your light level, use an online light level calculator to check what the changes may entail. Personally, I use this website: http://jpwilsondesigns.com/destiny/lightcalculator.html as it is very useful and very easy to use.) Usually if I find an item that is a higher light level than my currently equipped gear, I only infuse it if it's a little bit higher than the original, because light levels will vary depending on if it's a lot higher or closer to the base level. THIS is where the light level calculator (listed above) comes in handy. Court of Oryx nearly always has pretty high light level gear to obtain by doing runes (You're almost always guaranteed one or two engrams to drop after a rune is completed and is placed by you. There's also a chance at just getting already decrypted guns and armor.

I could use all the help I can get when I'm on. Like we all know, we can't learn anything if we don't ask. And I've asked for help on how to raise my light level in the group chat. So any input would be grateful and would help future wolves
