Crota's end Raid. When ?
Just wanted to get opinions on when most DLC folk want to start the new Raid. Personally I'd like to go through the story/strikes first. However if other folk want to start on the new Raid first then I don't want to miss out.
I left it a while before I did VoG and never really got to discover it for myself as other people told me what to do.
I'd like to be a 'pioneer' this time .....
So basically, when shall we start organising CE Raids ?

Excited that the raid is available day 1. Didn't get the 9th off work, but have the 10th, anyone up for trying to crack this Tuesday night/Wednesday?

I'm up for trying the raid that day, if it's anything like Vault of Glass, it will be somewhat separate to the main content, and only obliquely referenced in the story missions anyway.

Defo up for a Crota raid next week. How exciting. Didn't realise it was all happening so soon. Would also love to take a pop with no expectation of what's coming.

Definitely on for this, figuring it out will be a lesson in frustration but great fun. Will likely end up seeing what others have done, but definitely want to take a run at it blind. Could be a whole weekend job.

I imagine that there will be a delay in unlocking it so that people can work on getting light levels increased to 30-31 before attempting it. Not everyone hit 30 yet, but I'm keen to get going with the raid as soon as possible though as it should be a good laugh and certainly a welcome change of scenery from the Vault.

3 RepliesSame here, I want to run the new raid with a group that has never done it before. The first time I did VoG I was basically told where to stand and what to shoot at. Not making the same mistake again! Crota's End won't be available until a week after the DLC drops, we should organise some groups for the first night.

1 ReplyI can't wait to get on the new raid, but I think I'll probably wait till the uber hardcore in the community crack it first, so that I can basically just copy whatever it is they do :D Let them do all the hard work and post their findings online. After all - who here has a spare 4 days of solid play to figure it all out?

We may have been late to the Raid party but was so glad we didn't read up and a spoil it for ourselves before we went through last week. We were so lucky that Paz had the patience to guide 5 noobs and let us explore and make mistakes and I think it meant we learned a lot more about each round as we failed so many times as we worked out what to do. Don't get me wrong we had a few pointers (especially the Gorgon maze which is just plain sadistic!), but I really enjoyed the experience and want to do the same in the next Raid as well if possible. We've booked the 9th off to play through the story so I guess it depends how long it takes to run through the other stuff first!

Soon as possible for me. (However the Raid is likely to come out just after my fiancé moves in. So I might not get the chance to play it straight away).

I've heard that, just like the Vault of Glass the raid won't be available until a week or so after dlc releases. But yeah, i'd certainly be up for going through blind so to speak
