The 45 y/o VOG and Crota Virgin (not Steve Carell): Looking for Sherpa(s) on Sunday (4/12) to help me out starting at 12pm CT

I'm a married software consultant who travels 2 weeks/month, so I don't get that much playing time. However, I still have managed to level up both my Warlock and Titan to 30 and get plenty of legendary and a few exotic armors/weapons for each along the way (no gjallarhorn tho). My wife is going out of town on Sunday morning, so I have all afternoon to play Destiny. Since most of my friends are married w/kids and don't have the time or inclination to play, I haven't been able to do any of the squad-based events (Nightfall, VOG, Crota). I also haven't found a clan that is ideal for me to join (don't want to be the weak link). I've been playing as a loner, but would really like to be part of a good team. I used to play medic or engineer back when I was heavily into the Battlefield franchise, but that's not as much as an option in Destiny (Ward of Dawn is pretty handy tho). I'm ex-military (4 yrs as army infantry), so I have a good understanding of squad-based tactics and know how communication (i.e. I have a headset & mic) is critical in accomplishing the mission. I'd appreciate it if there's a group that would walk me through a normal VOG or Crota and explain what needs to be done to get through it. I look forward to hearing back from some of you. Thanks.
