help leveling up quick

EG, regarding leveling, i'll give you my input, but there may be other quicker ways to accomplish what you want. - complete all the story missions. They give you beaucoup experience toward your character (usually level up once per mission). Once you complete a story mission, you won't get the bonus experience again unless it is tied to an heroic content event - always use your glimmer collecting material when playing certain enemies - ether seeds for fallen, black idol wax for hive, blue polyphage for vex, resupply codes for cabal. This will help you gain glimmer faster. Use them! They are wasted if they just sit in your inventory. - do as many bounties as you can everyday, and BE SURE to have gear that you want leveled equipped when you turn in bounties, as the experience for the bounties goes directly toward your character and your equipped gear (not inventory stored gear) - gain vanguard reputation by patrolling. Once you hit level 2 in vanguard rep, you can purchase legendary armor. Level 3 vanguard unlocks legendary weapons - upon reaching level 20, you'll have access to vanguard striking, which give you lots of vanguard marks and rep - as soon as possible, start doing the daily and weekly heroic content, which can give you strange coins, ascendant material (needed to upgrade legendary/exotic gear), the occasional weapon/armor reward, as well as a lot of experience toward your character and equipped gear. - throughout all this, based on your current level, you will get random engram drops. The higher your character level, the better chance you'll get much needed high level gear. - although i am not a fan of exploit farming, there are a couple places in Destiny to quickly "farm" engrams used to equip or dismantle for upgrade materials/glimmer. Hope that helps. With the exception of engram farming, That's the way I leveled. Probably faster ways i'm sure.
