Just dinged to 40, looking for helpful players to raid with
Hello everyone. As i mentioned in the topic, i just dinged to lvl 40 with my warlock. I have 200 light, and just realized that there is no matchmaking system for raids in Destiny. To be honest i have no real life friends to play with. So i am looking for players to raid with.( I am pretty noob at the game actually, but good at shooting :) ) So add me if you guys are interested.

Died at jump puzzle( untill someone kindly looked down and told me which ship to jump too) and at wipes at gorgoloth. But that's as far as we got. Some kid kept dieing and you could hear the guys getting frustrated. Suddenly the kid who was leader goes who has lowest light.....yep me. I was about to flip as id done my duties well. The guys ended up leaving anyway and I followed them. So yeah my advice 290 isn't to low it's just elitists. Just find a good team willing to guide you through. If they moan but out find another team.

You need to be at least 290

It wouldn't even let you IN the raid with that light level. And yes, I've read the date on this.

You need higher light to get into a raid, strikes then court of oryx will be the best way to get higher light gear, check out the recruitment page for people to help and maybe even a LFG app

Grind strikes to get your light level up. There's a lot of work to be done [i]after[/i] you hit 40 before you can run kings fall

You cant get into the raid with THAT gear. 285 is the LOWEST I've seen anyone go in. And also, at 280 and below you are paper or cant enter because gear is too low.

Level doesn't matter. It's light level now. And you need 290 for the raid. Unless you're talking about the year 1 raids.

Do you expect to get carried you need to be at least 285 to try the raid. I'm sorry to say but no one would want to do it with you because you lack the weapons and the light lvl.

10 RepliesYou are good to go for VoG and Crota. But Oryx is still out of reach for you. You should reach at least 280s or 290s before you go into the Oryx raid. The faster way for me to level up was to play Court of Oryx for a few hours. Strikes are also good, but take longer.

2 RepliesI'm only light level 250 something. I don't know the first thing about raids, but I'm not looking to do the super hard ones yet at this level. I just want to do some other ones just to say I did them at least once. Please add me if you wanna tool around!

Feel free to add me! I down to do year one raids and go through heroic strikes until you level high enough for kings fall! I myself haven't done kings fall yet.

2 RepliesDon't waste time with strikes. Do daily activities. Get marks. Buy vanguard gear. Level 280ish. Without mindlessly running strikes for garbage rewards to use garbage infuse system. Skip the waste of time, buy the gear do the raid and youll be up to 290+

Keep running strikes and Heroic Strikes. You are light 231. Get closer to 280-290 and people will be more likely to take you. At 231 light you are going to die stupid fast and do no where near the damage needed.
