4 RepliesMassive Space Marine/ Wolves army, pretty big Eldar army, 1,500 point chaos army and 750 points of imperial monkeys. I would still collect it if the price hadn't gotten so prohibitively expensive - it was expensive when I was 12, but £30 for a codex now? I remember them being 8-12.

1 ReplyI never really played much since not too many people in my area had much interest in it, but I loved painting the figurines. I had DoW and I think the expansion, and then the next RTS that came out (it's been awhile for me). It was a neat hobby, but for what I was paying and the little use I saw with it I just kinda gave up on it. But I'll be damned if someone says that a well-painted camo schemed Tau Devilfish doesn't look staggering.

1 ReplyI have been playing Warhammer 40K since I was in 4th grade. I have played the Tau, Tyranids, and the Necron. I probably have to say I like the Necrons the best. After they got nerfed. I played the 'Nids before that. Also, Space Marines are OP and are for scrubs.

I have a passing interest in 40K, mostly Space Marines. The only thing I've really played in relation is Space Marine.

1 ReplyI play Space Marines, I'm not that good though, I've only played 10 or 11 games, mostly against Orks, a few times against Nids and more Space Marines, and once against Eldar.

I've been interested in getting into the tabletop for a while, but I have no one near me who's interested in it and the closest games workshop is in San Fransisco. I'd probably either play the Imperial Guard or the Tau in the table top. I'm not sure if Gue'vesa are still legal, but if they were I'd probably do something with them.

When I was introduced to Warhammer as a child I didn't know what race I wanted most... So I ended up getting a few samples of different armies, like Necron, Tyranid, Dark Eldar, Space Marines, and at a point, some LOTR pieces... Eventually though I concentrated on Space Marines and bought a decent army size with a Whirlwind, Land Raider, Predator, Razorback, Land Speeder, a command squad, a couple squads of infantry, an assault squad, and the starter set they used to have a while back named something like Battle for Makgrag, or along those lines. I used my own custom paint scheme that I'm still very fond of, and if I pick it up again in the future I will continue to use. I also love Dawn of War, which is probably my favorite RTS ever.

4 RepliesI have a Tau army, but because there are no players nearby and the prices are steadily creating up, I have mostly abandoned the TT in favour of Black Library. Even then I am still waiting for the new Horus Heresy to come out in MMPB. However, I loved the games. Here's to a potential Space Marine sequel.

I've had Blood Angels, Thousand Sons and Night Goblin armies. And a Witch Hunters warband for Mordheim. I don't play anymore. Except Mordheim.

So far I've painted my terminator squard like Batman, Superman, Iron man, Green lantern and one other I've not done yet. Tactical squads like stormtroopers The Bikes pure black because they look like the Batpod from TDK
