Weekly Nightfall Thoughts - Week of Feb 2 2016

Hi everyone! R-DUB here with some opinions on this weeks nightfall after having conquered it three times (with some help of course). It is good ol' Valus this week, and with him a lot of heavy artillery (as always). So the big modifiers I found were specialist and exposure. Here is a quick breakdown for some who may not know them off the top of their head (I certainly don't): Specialist: Bonus damage on all special weapons in the special weapon slot. Exposure: Guardian shields are very strong but regenerate very very slowly (does not apply to the red health portion). As far as primary and heavy slots go, guardians choice. Pick what you like to use but make sure it packs a punch so you can get out of sticky situations if you run out of special. Special - I highly recommend sniper rifle. Black Spindle is a good exotic for this slot, I used it in 5 of my nightfall runs. The snipers take care of any enemy from a distance in 3-4 shots max, and do devastating damage to the boss himself. For fun: Run a shotgun. Seriously. It is really hard and I don't recommend it if you are wanting to speed through it but for me it was a good exercise in PVE shotty practise!
