Destin00bs Unite!

There was already a "Destin00bs" group, but it had only one member, so let's do better than that! My name is Ken. I'm returning to console gaming after many years attempting to live like a responsible adult. (Impossible. They're all faking.) I tried Destiny on a hand-me-down XBox 360 just before the TTK expansion was released and, after playing for about 4 hours, I was hooked and preordered the Destiny PS4 bundle. I know everyone says the TTK content is the best, and I know I could just level up with the Spark of Light, but I want the full experience, dammit! Problem is, I'm surrounded by level 40s. Can't really run missions with them. Don't want them to "help" me level up by blowing everything away for me. I want to earn my 40! I know I'm not alone.
