Factions/NPC's

NPC's Gearbots: Machines powered by steam. Coexist to support people and assist with daily functions. Some are also combat models. Sizes, function and design range of the Gearbots. All are powered by a Steam Engine using evaporated water molecules. The Royal Family: The corrupted influential family who hold social power. With parliament, they are able to exceed in maximizing their industry and becoming the world power. The Rippers: Deadly assassins that serve the Royal Family. Generally wear formal clothing such as suits and dresses while armed with several blades and they wear a large metal gear mask over their face. The Enforcers: The Empire's national guard and police brigade. They have a patch on their uniform of the flag of The Empire: two wrenches crossed with a Cog in the center. Generally wear armored hats, goggles, bullet proof vest, and armed with firearms. The Militia: Soldiers and members within The Republic. Generally wear armored coats or armored vest with a bandana with a white star within a cog usually tied around their face to conceal their identities or wrapped around their arms if they're brave, to signify their allegiance to The Republic. Brigands: Criminals within the urban city. Membership extends from The Royal Dragon Triad, The Haze, and The Marauders. Usually armed with any assortment of weaponry from firearms and projectiles or close-quarter melee. Generally wear regular street clothing. Highwaymen: Robbers and muggers that work outside of the city. Found in the rural regions. Different from Brigands as they are independent, and steal to survive or for rational self-interest. Usually armed with any assortment of weaponry, from firearms and projectiles to close-quarter melee. Usually wear hooded cloaks. The Infected: Humans infected with the virus. Mindless wild animals, they feed on the blood of other mammals including humans. The virus spreads when bitten through blood contact with saliva. Developed a rare allergic reaction to ultra-violet radiation that burns their skin but received enhanced super-human physiology. Most look pale and and veins appear black from the virus. ---------------------------------- Special NPC's [b]Aristocrats[/b] [u]Duke Merrick Rycroft[/u]: A nobleman with a mysterious past. The highest ranking of the Aristocrats who reports to Parliament and the Royal Family. [u]Marquess Elizabeth Hawthorne[/u]: Vapor's famed celebrity. She uses her power to promote fame and earn riches and glory in hopes of one day surpassing Duke Rycroft. [u]Earl William Bradford[/u]: Former Lieutenant of The Empire Military army. Expert engineer, and he is having an affair with Countess Lyra. [u]Countess Lyra Otonomo[/u]: The Baron of Vapor. A Master swordswoman. Secret lover of the Earl. [u]Baron Ephraim Winchester[/u]: A crack shot and a big game hunter. Baron Winchester is rumored to be abusive with women according to militia intel. [b]Gearbots[/b] [u]Tick-Tock[/u]: a military prototype Gearbot that malfunctioned and was set loose. It's combat function was never tested and roamed the streets violently killing anyone it came across. [b]Criminals[/b] [u]Xiao Long[/u]: Leader of The Royal Dragons. In charge of the criminal activity and often fights the government and other officials. There is little known of Xiao Long. [u]Kane Otonomo[/u]: A nobleman and Second in Command of The Royal Dragon. Right hand man of Xiao Long, he acts as the handler. Brother to Countess Lyra Otonomo. He is seen wearing very expensive suits for the majority of the time. [b]The Republic[/b] [u]General Malory[/u]: Formerly served The Empire's military as their General. The leader of the Republic. A freedom fighter who fights for liberty and demands freedom and the right for the people to govern and choose. A seasoned man, with short combed over grey hair, with a metal eyepatch, a brown armored vest with the Republic flag painted on it, a brown leather jacket, khaki pants and brown boots. [u]Lockwood[/u]: Second in command of the Republic. She acts as the handler. She has long blonde hair tied into a bun, a pair of goggles and sports a grey coat, dusty pants and black boots.
