"I don't want you to get hurt. I want my man to be healthy and strong before we continue farther. Please rest." Emily said calmly.
I knew that she was concerned about my health, so reluctantly I agreed to rest before we continued. Plus, I needed to be at full strength in order to combat SIVA's security protocols.
-One Hour Later-
As I sat against the wall, I toyed with one of my data pads. I had acquired it when I was exploring the Collectives records. It housed locations of deeply hidden vaults on Mars, Earth, near Saturn, and the Moon. I went over the locations and remembered what happened to each of them.
The vault on the Moon was intact but held nothing but logs about the colony in Oceanus Procellarum or the Ocean of Storms. It even housed records of Mare Imbrium, before Crota slew hundreds of Guardians there.
The vault on Mars was crawling with Vex tech and housed very little that would prove useful. All it housed was the records of SIVA's testing and eventual deactivation and exportation to Earth.
The vault located near Saturn, on the moon Titan, was more than disappointing. All it held was recon data from colonization scouts hoping to make Saturn a home.
I turned the data pad off and slid it back into my bag. I then decided to get up.
"Jacob...You aren't doing what I think you're doing are you?" asked Shade quietly since Ian, Emily, Garret, and Clint were asleep.
Suddenly Jade, Emily's ghost, had appeared alongside Shade.
"Shade, I sense that Jacob has recovered well enough to continue this adventure. Don't you agree?" Jade asked.
"I...uh...well..." Shade stuttered. I looked at him to let him know I was alright to continue.
I then heard a yawn come from Emily as she sat up. She slowly turned her head to look at me and a small smile appeared on her face.
"Feeling better, hun?" she asked.
"Much better, but we need to move. I have a bad feeling about staying in this spot longer than we should." I said as I put on my helmet and drew my Necrochasm out.
Emily nodded and nudged Clint and Ian awake while putting her helmet on.
"Ugh, are we finally moving?" asked Clint groggily.
"Yeah, we are, and we are not going to stop once we push past the Splicers and reach deeper into SIVA's tomb." I said as I loaded a mag into Necrochasm.
"I have a feeling that we are going to be very busy once we venture farther."
