Instead of the by now standard assassin guild that doesn't actually achieve much in the way of making an impact on the lore timeline, how about a race specific inquisition on talos worship? Going around as a high/wood/cat elf kidnapping and assassinating secret worshippers and priestss and the like, infiltrating "covens" and taking them down from the inside. Putting heretics on public trial, ect.
Alongside that (similar to the dawnguard story) a counter inquisition where you hunt down and assassinate inquisitors and thalmor sympathisers, as well as possible infiltrating them and helping the targets flee and fake their deaths. This easily ties in with the main/secondary story and is better than "kill this guy because money says so".
Your thoughts?

Well that would really only make sense in skyrim since only certain nords worship talos. And the next one is not gonna be in skyrim again so I don't see this happening in TES VI.
-
No, I don't want TESVI to have anything to do with skyrim. I don't even waant it to be in tamriel.

I'm here just hoping the don't bugger it up like Fallout 4. Don't make me play Skyrim for the next 10 years Bethesda!
3000 hrs a counting..
All I took from this was "I want a direct sequel from Skyrim that still deals with Talos worshippers, get rid of the Dark Brotherhood in exchange for a new assassins guild, change the name of the Khajiit race to 'cat-elves', Stormcloaks and Thalmor, Skyrim 2"
No thank you.
Khajit*

This sounds like a pretty good idea. The dark brotherhood and thieves guild both got kinda boring since it was the same thing over and over again.
-
I don't think the Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor gets the love it deserves. Adopt it into things like this, tell me it wouldn't suck.

Edited by deathwolfclaw666: 2/9/2016 8:14:55 PMsounds good, there are actually a few mods for Skyrim like it also Khajiit, Elf unless you do mean one of those race mix mods - Wolf+Human, Khajiit+Elf, Dragon+Human
-
Except the High Elves are the only ones who really want to stamp out Talos worship. More specifically, only the Thalmor. All the other races are very indifferent or pro Talos worship so unless you're a high elf siding with the Thalmor or a rather zealous Nord it doesn't make a whole lot of sense lore wise for any other race you might play as to get involved in that.
high/wood/cat elf

cat elf

cat elf
What in the holiest of hells? I don't think people who make random races up should try and think up whole new game designs while removing an integral part of Elder Scrolls lore.

As you see with fallout 4 I doubt we are gonna get alot of depth in the story department
-
Your thoughts?
What the hell is a cat elf? But seriously, I really like this idea.
-
I just hope I can build my own castle. But yeah, that's a pretty good idea, I'd love to assassinate some Thalmor. Definitely better than the cliche assassin guild quests. Hopefully they could do something like that for the warrior's guild quests as well, maybe utilizing the current console capabilities to simulate large battles and such.

Best idea ever!

I hope u didn't just delay the game.

That sounds c o o l b r o

That would be cool

That sounds like a pretty solid idea.
